BACK TO HIS BEST SEAN DURRANT TAKES THE HONOURS AT ALVECHURCH
Sean Durrant was back to his very best taking the victory on the Horseshoe Lake at a very pleasant Alvechurch Fishery. Although pegged on our own numbered 20, he was on the famous fishery peg 28 and he show2ed us how to fish the flyer with over 16 pound to spare. Sean put an all Carp catch onto the scales at the weigh in for 74-03, along with his win Sean will collect his second trophy this season, "the Crosby Cup" to go with the "Edna cox memorial trophy at the Presentation Evening.
New member this season Jim Barron collected the second placed envelope with a mixed bag for 57-08. Jim was on peg 7 on the near side of the lake and used various methods throughout the five hour match.
The Turner's Husband and Wife duo collected the third And fourth places. Jeff used The feeder from peg 3 and Put a mixed bag onto the Scales for 49-06. Mary just A couple of pegs away used The same approach for 45-10.
Bob Hinks continued his fine Start to the season finishing fifth with 44-15 with Kieran Smith in sixth with 44-13. Bob won the first section prize with the second going to Ian Rennie from peg 22.
The biggest fish of the season to date went to Paul Hotchkiss who landed a 8-10 lump from peg 16.
