Despite his worst result of the season Rob Cox is the First Division champion, Ian Rennie claimed the divisional win which was enough to secure runners-up spot, Peter Bullock like Rob had a poor last match which left him in third. Kieran Smith who was another one poor result finished fourth and John Male ended the season in fifth. Dave Skinner held on to his place in the top flight by a single point in sixth and despite a late charge from Steve Cox, Steve will be relegated along with Darren Bullock.

Andy Taylor is the Division Two champion he finished the 2016 season with an eight point gap which is very convincing. It’s a shame that someone has to miss out when two members finish on the same points and that’s what happened in the battle for runners-up. Juan Pereira (252lb 8os) will be in Division One next year due to his total overall weight throughout the season just edging out Paul Hotchkiss (179lb 11os) who held a five point advantage going into the final match. Dave Robinson finished fourth, John King moved up a place into fifth with Sean Durrant in sixth.
Unfortunately Mark Jones and Dave Crosby will be relegated.

Bob Hinks claimed the Division Three title after winning the final match shoot out against Brian Tovey who had to settle for runners-up spot. I think both members will be promoted to Division Two next season. Colin Parsonage was waiting in the wings for any slips by the leading two but this didn’t occur and he finished in third spot. Mary Turner with a fine win in the final match edged above her other half Jeff to claim fourth position. Jeff Turner was fifth, Alan Martin sixth and Ian Hughes finished Seventh. Alan Whitmore ended the season in eighth.
