The 2015 season provide some very close finishes in all Three divisions and after 10 matches we now know who will be promoted and sadly relegated.
DIVISION 1.
Rob Cox and Kieran Smith went into the final match with just one point separating them at the top and Rob extended that to two points which gave him the First Division Championship. Peter Bullock moved into third place on 32 points two clear of John Male. Steve Cox moved up a place after his good finish at Fisherwick and Ian Rennie slipped to Sixth on 36. Mark Jones and Sean Durrant will be relegated.
DIVISION 2.
The Second Division has been very close all season and it was Dave Skinner who came out on top with a four point Cushion. Dave will now take his place in the top Division next season where he will be joined by Darren Bullock. Darren and Dave Crosby finished level on 31 points but Darren takes second place be virtue of a better overall weight over the 10 matches. This is the second year on the trot that Dave has finished third. The two promoted members from division 3 last season Paul Hotchkiss and Dave Robinson where level on 33 but Paul had the better weight. John King ended in sixth on 37 while Colin Parsonage and Bob Hinks are sadly relegated to Division Three.
DIVISION 3.
Juan Periera ran away from the field in Division Three, his five divisional wins out of 10 match's sore him coast to a seven point winning margin. Juan will be in Division Two next year alongside Andy Taylor who claimed the runners-up spot with a strong finish to the season. Mary Turner finished in third place which she can be pleased with in her first season with the Club. Brian Tovey and winner at Fisherwick Jeff Turner where level on 40 points with Brian having the better weight advantage. Jeff could have done a lot better but he had to overcome a horrible start to the year. Ian Hughes had a good finish to the season and ended up in sixth on 45 points which was six points clear of Alan Martin who suffered after his operation mid way through the campaign. Alan Whitmore the ‘Langley Wizard’ himself finished 2015 with 55 points.
