LEO CLAWS HIS WAY TO AN EASY VICTORY AT SION FARM

Leo McLaughlin showed once again what a fine young angler he really is by winning our last match of the season at Sion Farm
Match landing some nice looking Carp for a total weight of 51-8. Fishing from Peg 17 at the far end of the big Pool Leo had 17 pound to spare in his fine victory. Second placed Dave Skinner also used the feeder for his 34-8, Dave caught most of his fish in open water from peg 11 on the right hand side of the lake. The most consistent angler this season Dave Crosby ended up in third place two pounds shy of second placed Dave Skinner. Crocker put a nice bag of fish together that weighed in at 32-8. Jeff Turner (pictured right) also Took a likening to the big pool Collecting the fourth placed Envelope with a straight 18 Pound on the scales. Jeff was into The fish straight from the whistle But had a lean spell at the end of The match. Rob Cox claimed applause not only from our members but those pleasure fishing when he took to the water to retrieve his pole after he hooked into a right lump. Rob claimed Fifth place which was helped by the fish still being hooked when he finally climbed a shore. Just Four ounces shy of Rob was Peter Bullock who finished Sixth with 13-10.
