After a lot of calculations we now know the final Four in the Singles Competition. League 1
We had three members on six points which was reduced to two based on the amount individual wins the member has over the series , after then doing the calculation on weight the eventual winner was Kieren with 114lb 15oz who had the better weight than with Juan 104lb 4oz.
League 2
Colin Parsonage won this group with eight points which was 2 point in front of Mark and Darren both on 6 points.
League 3
Rob Cox remained unbeaten in this group collecting 10 points which was 4 points clear of Ian & Mary.
League 4
We had three members on Six points also they had the same number of wins so we went down to overall weight over the series.
Peter Bullock came out on top with 130lb 12oz, Ian had a total of 123lb 2oz this left Paul with a total of 115lb 7oz in third.
* As agreed with everyone both Dave Robinson and John King was awarded 1 point each due to them weighing in the same weight.
With Peter Bullock unable to fish it allowed Rob Cox to go through by default.
In the other match Kieren Smith went through by beating Colin Parsonage so the final will be between Rob and Kieren
The final of our Singles competition turned into a disappointing encounter with both Kieran Smith and Rob Cox struggling to find any decent fish from their respective pegs.
Everything looked to be fine at the draw with both pulling out the same pegs they used last year but we all know fishing is never the same day after day. Kieran was the eventual winner of the BRS Shield with an all bits catch of 1lb 3os which proved to good for Rob who could only muster 5 ounces.
Victory for Kieran denied Rob a clean sweep of out Individual competitions he had already won the Doubles, Teams Of Three, The Lou Hughes Memorial Trophy, and the Lou Hughes overall weight.
