SIMON SPENCE WON OUR FINAL MATCH OF THE 2021 SEASON ON THE DALES POOL AT BONEHILL MILL WITH A MIXED BAG FOR JUST OVER 44 POUND. FISHING FROM PEG 17 SIMON USED BOTH THE FEEDER AND POLE TO LAND SOME NICE LOOKING FISH. HE WILL ALSO COLLECT THE LONDON TAXI TROPHY WHICH MANY MEMBERS HAVE WAITED YEARS TO WIN SO FOR SIMON TO WIN AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT IS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT. BRIAN TOVEY COLLECTED THE RUNNERS-UP PRIZE WITH AN ALL CARP CATCH OF 39 POUND 2 OUNCES FROM PEG 7. BRIAN USED MAINLY THE MAGGOT FEEDER AT HALF WAY TO THE AERATORS DISTANCE WHICH PRODUCED A NICE 11 POUND 4 OUNCE LUMP IN HIS CATCH. THIRD PLACE WENT TO PETE BULLOCK WHO USED BOTH THE WAGGLER AND FEEDER FROM PEG 9 FOR 33 POUND 6 OUNCES. PETE HAD A FINE FINISH TO THE SEASON WHICH WILL SEE HIM RETURN TO DIVISION ONE NEXT TERM. FRANK WALLACE WHO’S HAD A GREAT SEASON ENDED THE MATCH IN FOURTH PLACE WITH 28 POUND 2 OUNCES FROM PEG 10 ALONG THE RIGHT HAND BANK. LIKE A LOT OF THE MEMBERS FISHING TODAY FRANK USED THE FEEDER FROM THE START AND ENDING WITH THE POLE IN THE MARGINS. SECTION PRIZES WENT TO DAZ HAYNES AND PAUL CONNELL. DAZ WAITED THREE HOURS WITHOUT A BITE ON PEG 5 THEN FOUND THE FISH AT DISTANCE ON DEAD RED MAGGOTS FOR A LEVEL 28 POUND. PAUL CONNELL LANDED THE BIGGEST FISH OF THE DAY FROM PEG 14 A 13 POUND CARP WHICH WAS AMONGST HIS CATCH OF 27 POUND 4 OUNCES
