MORE SILVERWARE FOR ROB COX AFTER HIS WIN AT COPPICE LANE
Rob Cox is certainly enjoying his end of season good form with a convincing victory on Becketts Pool at Coppice Lane. Rob drew peg 20 out of the bag and managed to turn the scales around to just over 41 pound to take the Pat & Louise Memorial Trophy with over Four pound to spare. Rob has recently won the Teams of Three, Birmingham Banter Trophy, and the Charity Shield and who knows what others he will win before the season closes. Another member who’s having a golden Patch at the moment is Juan Periera who From Peg 31 managed to land 37 pound One ounce to take second place. Juan Used his trusted feeder to the corner of The Island and netted some nice looking Carp. It was good to see Kieran Smith in the frame collecting third place from the noted peg 22. Kieran used the pole at Six Metres and landed some nice Carp for just over 35 pound but he lost a few throughout the day which could of changed the result. Another member to loose a few was Paul Hotchkiss who missed out on third place by just one ounce. Paul was fishing from peg 7 and everyone he hooked went straight for reeds opposite his peg which proved to difficult to stop. The consistent Frank Wallace grabbed Fifth place from peg 27 catching most of his 28-4 on the feeder across to the island. Micky Small ended in sixth from peg 18 putting three fish on the scales for a level 18 pound.
