The wonderfully named Macost collected the Teams Of Three event at Bonehill Mill after a very tight finish with just three points separating the top four teams.
The winning team of Mark Jones, Colin Parsonage, and Steve Kavanagh put together a total score of seven section points which was enough to see them over the line when the weigh in was completed. Mark with 21lb and Colin with 11lb both managed second’s in their section’s and it was all down to Steve who was last to weigh and his 13lb 4oz was suffice to take three points and the trophy.
Two points behind the winners where the No Hopers who had to rely on overall team weight to secure second spot over Ten Bellies, Captain Rob Cox did the damage for the No Hopers securing the runners up spot with a section win on the Mill Pool with 22lb 4oz, making up the rest of the team was Paul Hotchkiss who caught a lump on Ashley's which helped in his 13lb 0oz for fourth spot in his section which was matched by Jeff Turner also forth in his section with 3lb.
Ten Bellies also on nine points sore Andy Taylor taking two points in his section weighing in 3 carp in the shallows for 14lb 1oz, team member Juan Periera also pegged on Ashley's caught a single carp for 6lb 1oz gained third in his section, final member of the team Ian Rennie managed fourth on the Mill Pool with 9lb 4oz.
It’s a Load Of Bullocks finished overall fourth with Bob Hinks taking a section win on Ashley's with 19lb 1oz, with the Bullock brothers made up the team, Peter finished with 15lb 8oz for 3 point in his section and Darren ended with 3lb 0oz for 6 points in his section.
