ROB GAINS HIS SECOND WIN IN A ROW TO COLLECT ANOTHER TROPHY
Rob Cox continued his excellent run of form to win on the Horseshoe lake at Alvechurch thus adding another trophy to his 2016 collection which seams to be growing with every match (WELL DONE MR COX). Rob knew he was in with a very good chance as soon has he pulled out peg 13 which he told me early in the day that had been winning all the opens on the pool in recent weeks. He put a mixed bag of Carp and Barbel onto the scales for 56lb 14oz. Second place went to Brian Tovey who pulled out peg 14 next to the winner and like Rob he put a mixed bag onto the scales for 53lb 11oz. Neither the winner or Brian would not reveal the tactics they used so I cannot update you.
Colin Parsonage collected the Third place Envelope with his best performance of the season putting 41lb 13oz onto the scales. Colin Used a short pole mainly throughout the match and like the leading two caught mainly Carp and Barbel.
Paul Hotchkiss finished in Fourth place with a very respectful 37lb 12oz from peg 5 on the left hand side of the pool. Paul put some lovely looking lumps on the scales. Andy Taylor finished in Fifth with Jeff Turner in sixth.
