FRANK JUST LOVES THE CANAL POOL AT ALVECHURCH.

Frank Wallace certainly loves the Canal Lake at Alvechurch Fishery winning for the second time in successive seasons. He couldn’t match his huge weight from last year but he managed to land a nice mixed bag for 73 pound 7 ounces. Fishing from peg 7 Frank used the pole at various distances’s with worm for his win. NOT ONLY DID FRANK WIN THE MATCH BUT HE ALSO WON THIS YEARS B.R.S SHIELD AND BECOME THE 2020 CLUBS SINGLES CHAMPION.
COLLECTING THIS YEARS SUPSIDIARY SHIELD WAS John Male BY COMING IN AS RENNER - UP TO FRANK, collected the second placed prize money from peg 3 near the entrance putting 60 pound 11 ounces onto the scales which was mainly Carp to Five pound. Like the winner John used the pole with worm and caster. Paul
Hotchkiss finished in third place with 46 pound 11 ounces from peg 26. Unfortunately we had to move Paul from his original draw peg 8 due to aerator and rope in the middle of the canal.
Rob Cox managed to land some nice fish in his 41 pound 7 ounce catch which proved enough for fourth spot.
Peter Bullock and Ian Hughes collected the section prizes. Unfortunately Colin Parsonage had to leave the match early due to feeling unwell with a migraine i'M SURE WE ALL WISH COLIN A SPEEDY RECOVERY.
