Andy Taylor took the Edna Cox trophy with a great win on a sunny but blustery day, Andy is becoming the man to beat at this venue as last year he picked up second spot. Fishing peg 4 he had a nice bag of carp, which included one of about 6lb. Fishing on the other side of the lake on peg 45 Ian Rennie weighed in a all carp bag for 32lb to take second. In third was Dave Robinson followed by Peter Bullock closely followed by Brian Tovey. Contrary to what I was informed before the start of the match the high numbers struggled, only to be informed after the match that the breeze was coming from the wrong direction. It was also nice to see Mary beating hubby Jeff yet again which caused a few lighthearted comments.
