Jeff Turner collected his first win with the club by taking the honours at a very poor Stream Pool at Fisherwick Lakes Litchfield. I think enough has been said about why we had to fish the particular pool so lets concentrate on Jeff's victory. Jeff managed to land a couple of nice Carp in his 11lb winning weight from peg 10, which will surely make up for his disappointing start to the season.
Juan Periera rounded off a good season finishing in second place with 9lb 8oz. Juan was pegged in the same region as the winner and put two Carp on scales at the weigh in.
Peter Bullock landed the biggest fish of the day from peg 18 next to the match pool which was enough to secure third spot with 8lb 8oz. Peter tempted the big fish from the far bank margins and made up his catch with bits from under his feet.
Steve Cox collected Fourth spot with a mixed bag of Carp and Perch from peg 4. Fishing in open water near the bend Steve used dead reds over pellets.
John Male finished in fifth with 7lb 8oz, whilst Rob Cox put 5lb 13oz on the scales for sixth
