SHIELD COMPETITION
After three preliminary round matches we now know the Nine members who will contest the Semi-Final stage of the Singles. Dave Skinner overcame Bob Hinks in their deciding encounter in Group One to progress.
Group Four was very close with Michael Farrell coming out on top two points clear of Micky Small and Brian Tovey.
Defending Champion Juan Periera also made it through winning Group 7 by a single point against Mary Turner.
Only two made it through with maximum points John Male from Group Two and Any Taylor from Group Nine.

Well we now know the Three members who will contest the 2019 singles competition final. Although only picking up two points in the last match Sean Durrant topped Section One with a three point advantage over John Male with Dave Skinner ending on 4. Michael Farrell will join Sean in the final after collecting the three points at Elmbridge he overtook Ian Rennie who finished SECOND with 6 one clear of Frank Wallace.
Andy Taylor will be the third member to qualify, he finished on 7 points in section three after his win in the last match. Defending champion Juan Periera finished second in the section with five, two clear of Jeff Turner.
