After what's AS been a disappointing season for Pete Bullock he managed to turn around his poor form to win our Silvers match on the Canal Pool at Alvechurch. Pete used a waggler and a whip throughout the match and weighed in a useful 31LB 7OZ to lift the winners envelope.
On the opposite side of the Pool to the winner Paul Hotchkiss in peg 19 secured the runners-up spot with a nice mixture of Barbel and Ide for 23LB 14OZ. Paul rotated between the margins and 4 meters with double maggots, IN THIRD WAS Sean Durrant HOW was in peg 20 next to Paul, Sean had to return a number of Carp to the water but he still managed to put 23LB 14OZ onto the scales.
At the end of the five hour match Our regular guest angler Corey Charnell made it into fourth spot with an all margin catch of 19LB 14OZ. Corey used maggots close to the reed beds and like Sean he had to return a number of Carp. Dave Skinner ended up in Fifth place from peg 7 with an all Barbel net of 18LB 14OZ, whilst Colin Parsonage was Sixth with 15LB 4OZ from peg 18.
