With 7 fishing this match we had plenty of space . Mettinng in the cafe at 0730 for a nice fry up and discussed the match so everyone was happy .
at 10am all i was called and we were all on to silvers straight away with some anglers fishing short , some going shalla and the obligatory ian rennie feeder chuck we were underway .
Lovely weather to be outside basking in the sun with plenty of bites from quality silver fish all round .
Around mid day micky farell snagged a hippo and bumped himself well in front , hodgy adding a big lump to his net just after , and rob cox bagging himself a hippo late on.
Most of the match was spent chasing f1 around our pegs with the odd silver thrown in, Take the carp out of the equation the weights were close and everyone enjoyed the competitive match which no one knew who had won until the weigh in . Cracking day had by all.
Nice visit from Daz bullock donating £20 to the charity pot .and Rob cox donating his winnings to the charity meant we raised £72 in total .
