Rob Cox must have an alarm clock that goes off half way through the season to tell him to start winning. Every season he produces a run of results that puts him in the frame for lot’s of silverware. He followed up his recent win at Broad Acres to take the honours at Coppice Lane with over Nine pound to spare. Fishing from FANCIED peg 22 on the far side of the pool Rob used mainly the pole to tempt some nice looking Carp in his winning weight of 32LB 8OZ.
an Rennie’s revival continued after his poor start to the season, he claimed the runners-up spot with a level 22LB from peg 10 at the far end. Ian used his trusted Feeder approach throughout the match.
It was nice to see Mark Jones back on the bank after missing a few matches, he picked up the third place prize with 20LB 9OZ from PEG 23 the next peg to winner. Mark’s weight was boosted near the end of the match when he hooked into a nice lump.
Andy Taylor was in the frame again taking fourth spot with 20LB 2OZ From peg 20. Andy was struggling early on with only bit’s to show for his efforts but he found some fish in the margins late on. Dave Crosby took the fifth spot with 19LB 10OZ followed by Kieran Smith with 19LB 1OZ
