Sean Durrant added the Tankard Trophy to his increasing list of Silverware this season by winning our Silvers match on the Canal Pool at Alvechurch Fishery. Sean fishing from peg 7 fished caster throughout the match and finished with a beautiful bag of mainly Barbel and ended up just under 17 pound clear of second place. I’m sure I speak for all our club members in wishing Sean all the best for his forthcoming wedding. Bob Hinks collected the second placed envelope by putting 27-14 onto the scales from peg 26. Bob Fished at various length’s using mainly maggot for a mixed bag of Ide and Barbel. Fishing in peg 25 next to Bob, Pete Bullock again fished at various distances during the five hour match and secured third place with a nice net of Ide for 26-10. Colin Parsonage again collected some coin by finishing fourth from peg 14 at the far end of the pool. It did not start very good for Colin when slipping on the wet peg he smashed most of his pole sections with most of his fish being landed on his top two. Paul Hotchkiss finished Fifth with Frank Wallace ending in Sixth
