frank takes the London taxi trophy at Marston field.

Frank Wallace won our final match of the season at what can only be described as a very disappointing Marston Fields.
18 fished the match and only 7 managed to weigh in which is really shocking.
Fishing from peg 17 Frank landed some nice Carp which tipped the scales at 22 pound 1 ounce which was enough to see him over the line. It turned out to be a good day for Frank with the win he also collected the London Taxi Trophy, First Division Champion, Lou Hughes Memorial points and weight titles, along with the Singles Champion. Collecting the second placed envelope was Steve Cox who sent the scales around to 18 pound 3 ounces with an all Carp Catch.
Although missing out on a few titles Michael Farrell did enough to finish in third place with 8 pound 3 ounces from peg 1 just by the entrance to the pool..
We had three sections of six members and today’s winners where Peter Bullock in section One with 7 pound 7 ounces, In section Two Paul Hotchkiss collected the money with 2 pound 4 ounces, making up the trio was Simon Spence who had one fish for 3 pound 11 ounces.
I know it’s no consolation but I took a look at the next pool match result and the winner got 10 pound and you only needed 2 pound to finish third.
